APPEC16 – links and resources
This weekend I am grateful to APPEC for allowing me to come and present at their annual conference hosted by Hong Kong International School (HKIS). There are hundreds of PE teachers, Outdoor Educationalists, some researchers, students and vendors – all here to unite about growing our professional practice around Student learning. You can get on social media and look for #APPEC16 to join in the fun.
When I present, I am conscious that I want to engage people in the thinking and the physical experiences as well as have time to ask questions and clarify ideas and to take things away for discussion or implementation when they get back to their teaching spaces.
Below are links to the digital resources that I used in my sessions at APPEC. These are resources that I have created with my department from Yokohama International School (YIS) from my IB time. I am in the process of now updating and editing these and making them more non-MYP friendly as well, but this is always a work in progress. If you use these or have ideas for change, please can you share back with me so I can learn from your experiences as well.
